Dr. Meier specializes in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck surgery (Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery) with a focus on minimally invasive sinus surgery, head and neck cancer and facial reconstruction. He has co-authored numerous textbooks and articles on head and neck cancer, pediatric airway disorders, and facial rejuvenation and reconstruction. He has been featured on the News4Jax morning show and has won numerous awards including Top Doc in Jacksonville Magazine.

Dr. Meier has dedicated his life to mastering this profession. He graduated in the top of his class in medical school and has the high honor of being a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Society. After which, he excelled in and completed an Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at the prestigious Northwestern University in Chicago where he spent time at Children’s Memorial Hospital learning techniques of pediatric facial reconstruction. He then completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey with Glasgold Group Plastic Surgery. He is double-board certified and is an expert in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgery as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Dr. Meier offers comprehensive care for all adult and pediatric ENT disorders including allergy and sinusitis, hearing and balance problems, ear infections, head and neck cancer and tumors, nasal obstruction, obstructive sleep apnea, and tonsillitis. He has specialized training in minimally invasive sinus surgery and in-office balloon sinuplasty that provides excellent results in alleviating sinusitis with little to no downtime.

Dr. Meier is an expert in facial reconstruction including skin cancer reconstruction and works with numerous dermatologists in Jacksonville to offer comprehensive care for all types of skin cancer including melanoma. He also performs facial paralysis evaluation and reconstruction as well as treatment of traumatic and congenital deformities. In the past ten years, Dr. Meier has performed over 1000 reconstructions with careful attention to scar appearance and function.

In his spare time, Dr. Meier enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys as well as reading, sports and culinary arts.
