Dr. Saswata Roy, a board-certified Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery specialist, holds fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology and Facial Plastics & Reconstruction Surgery. His medical education was at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by a residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital & Clinic in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery.

For aesthetic, reconstructive, and skull base surgery, Dr. Roy pursued a post-residency fellowship at Inselspital in Bern, Switzerland. He then returned to the United States to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL where he focused on pediatric ear, nose, throat, head, neck, and airway issues.
Dr. Roy completed an additional fellowship at the Shriners Hospital for Children in Chicago, where he focused on managing congenital, traumatic, and oncologic deformities of the head, face, and related structures.
Dr. Roy relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in 2004 where he was appointed Director of the Facial Anomalies & Cranial Base Program at the Nemours Children’s Clinic and Chief of Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery at Wolfson Children’s Hospital. His division provided an indispensable resource for children with intricate head and neck issues. Dr. Roy has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” and “Best Doctor” by numerous local and national publications, including Jacksonville Magazine, Who’s Who Magazine, and US News & World Report.
Dr. Roy’s practice encompasses both pediatric and adult ENT problems, including head and neck conditions, facial plastics, and reconstructive surgeries.
Dr. Roy, a former runner and triathlete, has completed over 30 marathons and Ironman races, resides in Atlantic Beach with his wife, son, and their dog, Uma. He is also an avid cyclist.
