Dr. Lori Bubenheimer has been a certified audiologist for over 31 years, with occupational audiology as an emphasis for the last 14. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Memphis and her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida in Gainesville. Previously, she served as the Occupational Audiologist for CSX Transportation, managing the company’s Hearing Conservation Program for more than 12,000 employees across the Eastern US. She has worked as a diagnostic audiologist at several teaching hospitals including UF/Shands Jacksonville and the University of Washington in Seattle where she originated and directed hearing aid services for adults. Dr. Bubenheimer holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association. Today, she is the Lead Audiologist for ENT Specialists of North Florida.
Dr. Bubenheimer has lived in Jacksonville, FL, for 30 years. She has served as guest lecturer for Master’s level courses in noise and physics at several universities and as adjunct teaching faculty for the UF Doctor of Audiology program. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and any time spent with her family.
